  David Sinclair - New Journal
If I've learnt anything during a lifetime of working in and around the music business, it is that talk is cheap. But the launch of the historic website www.davidsinclair.uk.com demands a few words of explanation.

It exists because two months ago, completely out of the blue, I wrote a song called Dusted & Rusted. But what to do with it? In the serendipitous way that things occasionally happen, I found myself booked in to a studio on New Year's Eve with one guitar, two of the finest musicians and friends I could have hoped to recruit, and a man in charge of the sound board who was more magician than engineer.

With Elizabeth Kinder on bass and backing vocals, Drew Farmer on drums and Gareth Parton at the controls, we nailed the song well before the evening festivities began. I've done a lot of recording, but never anything quite like this. The turnaround was so swift and neat, the alchemy perfect. The feedback from hardbitten industry professionals has been gratifyingly positive.

The idea of simply leaving it at that was unthinkable. Hence the David Sinclair website, your one-stop destination for downloading Dusted & Rusted, and the place where you will be the first to find out what happens next.

Actually, I'm wondering about that myself.

But we're working on it. Check out the track at www.davidsinclair.uk.com .Tell your friends. I'll keep you posted.
