Move Over, Rover Talk about finishing with a flourish. George, Drew and I convened in the Stone Room on November 27 and with the usual guidance from Gareth, we captured a sparkling performance of Going to do Something. The number was inspired by Charles R Cross's recently published biography of Jimi Hendrix, Roomful of Mirrors, but it is a song for anyone who is wandering this world in search of something better. So there it is. I have made my album. Ten tracks written and recorded in eleven months. Naturally, I would like to thank everyone involved: George, Drew, Jack, Elizabeth and - from start to finish - Gareth and his amazing technicolour pro-tools kit. What a trip it's been.
