  SongLink
My song, Bouquet of Weeds, has been placed on the Spring 2006 SongLink International sampler CD, out this week. SongLink is a long-established organisation which links songwriters with artists and publishers from all over the world who are looking for new songs to publish and record. Six times a year, SongLink publishes a news and contacts magazine accompanied by a CD featuring about 24 tracks on it, which is circulated to a global subscriber base including record companies, publishers, management companies, A&R departments and the like.

Bouquet of Weeds, a love song with an unusual sting in the tail, was the second track I recorded for my album, and was the immediate choice of SongLink's award-winning editor David Stark, for inclusion on the disc. David is currently at MIDEM, the music business jolly-up which takes place around this time every year in Cannes, where the new edition of SongLink will doubtless be circulating among the more hip and alert members of the international music business fraternity. You can read about and hear the MP3 clip of Bouquet of Weeds, via the SongLink website here (scroll down to Track 12 then click on MP3 clip).
